Portis and Parker return to Chicago again plus Bulls Mailbag - Locked On Bulls

Locked On Bulls is back with a fresh episode, the guys preview tonight’s matchup against the Washington Wizards, focus their attention on the return of Jabari Parker and Bobby Portis for the second time since being traded, and take Bulls fans texts, voicemails, and tweets in their weekly Bulls mailbag in the second half of the show.

Jabari Parker spoke to The Athletic’s Fred Katz about his time in Chicago this season and from his point of view how things went amidst the return to the United Center tonight for the second time. Jordan and Matt highlight some of the most interesting quotes from the article and talk about both Parker and Portis’ play since being traded at the deadline. What do the guys think Parker and Portis will command in free agency this summer? Do Parker’s quotes seem to justify his time with the Bulls? The guys highlight Portis and Parker’s recent offensive success with the Wizards and how that might help their free agent stock heading into the summer.

Locked On Bulls spends the rest of the episode taking Bulls fans questions and comments on their weekly segment of Bulls Mailbag. The guys start with a question about NBA prospect Coby White from UNC and whether or not he is the second-best point guard in this year’s draft. Jordan and Matt debate his game over Vanderbilt’s Darius Garland’s potential and whether the Bulls would reach or trade down to draft a point guard if they fall out of the top three picks.

The guys wrap up taking voicemails and questions surrounding Duke’s Zion Williamson. One caller believes that the fix might be in for Zion to New York, are the guys buying it? Locked On Bulls discusses how Zion Williamson would impact all five of the NBA teams at the bottom of the NBA from a marketing standpoint. The guys also take a question about some concern about Zion’s build and whether or not he will be able to sustain a healthy career. All this and so much more on Locked On Bulls.

Jordan Maly is the host of Locked On Bulls, he's a native of Naperville, IL and graduated from Indiana University - Bloomington.
