Anthony Davis not wanting to play in Chicago is embarrassing - Locked On Bulls

Locked On Bulls is back with a fresh episode, the guys topics for today’s show include a quick preview of tonight’s matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, reaction to all of the buzz about Anthony Davis (specifically the comments made by ESPN Insider Brian Windhorst), and the guys start discussions about NBA trade deadline deals the Bulls should be involved in.

The Brooklyn Nets come into tonight’s game with the¬†third best defensive rating (106.2) and the ninth best net rating (2.5) in the NBA over the last 10 games. The guys have a conversation about how the Nets went from ‘NBA Hell’ selling off all their assets to try and make a playoff run with aging superstars to changing their culture and positioning themselves into a spot to make a serious run in the Eastern Conference. The guys also have a conversation about De’Angelo Russell and Jarrett Allen.

Locked On Bulls follow up their discussion from yesterday’s podcast about the NBA’s biggest story, New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis requesting a trade and the Chicago Bulls most notably being out of the conversation. The guys talk about ESPN Insider Brian Windhorst’s comment about how Anthony Da, in fact, does not want to play for his hometown team in Chicago. The guys talk about how it this should be the ultimate indictment.

The guys finish up the episode talking about the NBA trade deadline which is less than two weeks away and some moves the Bulls should begin to discuss. Will the Bulls entertain offers for Kris Dunn or Bobby Portis? What kind of value can they get on the market? If they sit on both of those guys, will their value decrease over the last 32 games? The guys discuss a variety of players who have been made available including Lonzo Ball, Thon Maker, Suns wings, and so much more on Locked On Bulls.

Bulls crawling to the finish line as injuries, losses pile up - Locked On Bulls

Locked On Bulls is back with a fresh episode, the guys recap last night’s loss to the Toronto Raptors without Zach LaVine, Otto Porter Jr., and Kris Dunn. The guys spend the second half of the show taking mailbag questions, texts, tweets, and voicemails in their weekly episode of Locked On Bulls mailbag.

The guys talk about last night’s game with the idea that LaVine, Porter, and Dunn were out and the Bulls only dressed nine players. Lauri Markkanen only played 16 minutes in the game and left with ‘illness’ in the third quarter. Should the Bulls think about shutting him down for the rest of the season?

The guys talk about the time he did spend on the floor last night and how he was more aggressive but just missing shots. Should the Bulls be looking to draft a backup big man with their recently acquired second-round pick in the upcoming draft? Would you take the risk on NBA prospect Bol Bol if he started to slide to the end of the first round? What would it take to trade up from pick No. 4 to No. 2?
